The Director of the Agency for Financial Support in Agriculture and Rural Development, Nikica Bacovski, together with the Mayor of Delechevo, Goran Trajkovski, today inspected some of the projects implemented with funds from the Rural Development Program. The Director of the Agency, B.achovski, noted that in They are from Delchevo invest close 32,8 million denars for projects that improve the quality of life in several settlements.
–In this part of the country we awarded a non-refundable grant of 32.8 million denars for the implementation of three capital projects. With these funds, fecal sewage was built in several settlements, streets in the settlement Basarica, and a closed market will be built. The fact that Basarica gets sewerage and quality streets for the first time is gratifying and the citizens will no longer step on mud and have no additional costs for cleaning the pits. Exactly with Such investments show that with the policies and measures that we implement as a Government we create quality living conditions and to motivate the citizens to create their own businesses and to develop the settlements regardless of their location. Only by creating quality living conditions can we influence the reduction of the outflow of young people, ie to keep them in their homes – pointed out Bachovski.
The funds received by the Municipality for the implementation of these projects are non-refundable grants, and the obligation of the Municipality is the payment of value added tax. Mayor Trajkovski stressed that the focus of the municipality is on of building quality communal and road infrastructure. –It is a real pleasure when a capital project is completed that brings a better quality of life to the citizens. In Basarica with serious support from the Agency for Financial Support of Agriculture and Rural Development, we solved decades of problems of the citizens and showed that as a responsible government, both local and central, we listen to the voice of citizens, solve problems and create better living conditions. Basarica is a concrete example - a settlement that was urbanized three decades ago, where residents trampled mud and breathed dust for three decades, for the first time, last year through the Agency program, we built the first streets in the settlement with a total length of 1 km, but we also built 2 km of fecal sewage and we permanently solved the problem with the wastewater in Basarica and the village of Poleto. Now, Basarica is an urban suburban settlement with paved streets and sidewalks that provides conditions for further development of the settlement. I want to emphasize that the support from the Agency is important for the development of Delchevo. The next project that starts for realization is the construction of the modern city market in Delchevo, which will also bring a new face and image of the city and will raise the conditions for trade to a higher level, said Trajkovski.
Through the measures of the Rural Development Program in all municipalities in the country, over 200 investment projects are currently being implemented, for which the Government has provided 38 million euros. funds from the Budget of RSM.
