The Municipality of Delchevo is part of the joint Program of the Council of Europe and the EU, ROMAKTED, which means a Program for promoting good governance and strengthening of Roma at the local level. The program is intended for strengthening the local coordination bodies, formed within the implementation of the local action plans, as well as the realization of projects in the detected areas in the LAP: education, employment, housing and health.
The second meeting of the Advisory Group, held in Skopje, was attended by senior representatives of the Government of the RSM, the Council of Europe and the EU Delegation to the RSM, as well as representatives of the municipalities and the NGO sector and the Roma community.
In addition to the Municipality of Delchevo, 12 other municipalities from the country are included in the Program.
For Delchevo, this means additional support for the implementation of projects set out in the Local Action Plan that will improve the quality of life of the Roma community.
