Intensive work is being done on the construction of the first streets in the settlement Basarica. Streets are being built in the length of 1 km, 6 m wide with a sidewalk of 1.5 m. The Mayor of the Municipality of Delchevo, Goran Trajkovski, inspected the affairs today and expressed satisfaction that a big problem is being solved for the inhabitants of this settlement who have been trampling on mud and living in dust for decades.
– The first phase of the construction of the streets is in progress, ie the streets have been drilled, curbs are being installed and compaction is being performed, followed by asphalting. In Basarica, 6 streets are being built in a length of 1 km, ie this project covers about 80% of the street network in the settlement. With the realization of this project, we greatly improve the quality of life of the citizens and this suburban settlement will grow into an urban environment, as it should be, said Trajkovski.
He added that previously a storm sewer was built, which completely drains the settlement, and a fecal sewer was built on the stretch Basarica-s. Field in the length of 2 km.
-The value of the project, road infrastructure and sewerage in the settlement is about 25 million denars, funds from the Program for financial support of rural development through Agency for Financial Support in Agriculture and Rural Development. And I want to emphasize that when it comes to this neighborhood, the construction of the streets will not end with this project. Namely, we have designed all the streets in the settlement and cIn the next period, efforts will be made for complete completion of the infrastructural problems in the settlement.said Trajkovski.
